Question by : What other parts do I need for my motorcycle project?
Okay before everyone calls me stupid, I’m going to start off by saying that I’m a student. I’m learning. haha
I’m rebuilding a motorcycle (a side project).
1985 Honda Shadow VT500cc
I bought the engine and transmission for 20 bucks. I’m replacing the valves and the piston.
I’m just confused on what else I need to get the bike to be complete.
I know I need the frame (I’m going to weld it), the radiator (I have it already), the suspension, the battery, the wheels & brakes, the misc. cables & hoses, the carburetor, an air cleaner, and the gasoline tank.
I feel like I’m missing something though…
Oh and it would be great if anyone referred any good sites to buy motorcycle parts.

lights, wire harness, coil packs , title ,seat and if i remember right the Shadow had a reserve tankand try E Bay for parts
